Happening around the town - May 2013
The sun has been shining in Vancouver, and it looks like it’s here to stay. Spring has definitely sprung and with it events and exciting happenings are popping up all over the city. The outdoor pools and slides around the city are opening. This includes the pool at Second Beach, at Stanley Park. The slide at English Bay will be open, and lifeguards will be on duty!
Stop by Victory Square at Hastings & Cambie St. next Sunday, May 26 for the Fair in the Square. Partake in the live music, BBQ lunch and local arts & crafts. The festivities will be happening between 11am and 2pm.
With the sun shining and the weather warming up, patio season is upon us! Visit some of the fabulous patios in our neighbourhood. Relax with a beverage and watch the sunset at Cardero's at Coal Harbour, or take a break from a day at the beach and head over to Cactus Club or The Boathouse on English Bay for awesome ocean views. For a nice street level patio, stop by Tavola and dine on their delicious Italian cuisine while relaxing on their Robson street patio.
We hope to see you this summer! Be sure to book your suites soon, as there filling up quick!
We've also completely re-floored our 2nd floor. The carpet is gone, and we've replaced it with vinyl flooring in the kitchen & living room areas. It looks great, and it's enabled us to expand our pet policy. We've lowered our pet policy rate to minimum charge of $45, $15 each additional night. Our pet fees cover the cleaning company fee after you and your pet check out.
Bring your furry friend along on your next trip!
